Captain Peter Roberts is primarily engaged as an expert witness in arbitration and litigation and has given evidence in High Courts and Tribunals in the United Kingdom, USA and South Africa.

Peter is a Master Mariner who has commanded bulk carriers and also sailed on container and break-bulk vessels trading worldwide. Before commencing marine incident investigation work, Peter was also an Operations Manager for Owners of a mixed fleet of dry cargo vessels.

He has provided expert reports on collisions, unsafe ports and berths, groundings, seaworthiness, cargo loss, shift and stowage, personal injury, charter party disputes, holds condition and cargo-worthiness, due diligence and role of a prudent mariner.
